A cut of beef that is incredibly tender and flavorful. Although four of these medallions will beg for a stick of butter and half a bottle of red wine, all they really need is a good sear and gentle broiling until medium-rare to medium. Each medallion is approximately .5 lb, and they come one medallion to a package. If chateaubriand is on the menu for a special occasion, just let us know, and we will have it specially cut from the thickest part of the tenderloin—$ 27.00 lb Approximately .5lb per package.
