Vanilla Ice Cream
This is our go-to recipe for ice cream and the first recipe Rhayna learned to make on her own. Feel free to add any flavorings or fruit to suit your fancy.
Servings: 1 quart
Ingredients
- 3 whole egg yolks
- .5 cup maple syrup
- 1 tb vanilla extract
- 1 tb arrowroot powder
- 3 cups Raw heavy cream or whole milk use any amount of each to get the consistency you like
Instructions
- Beat egg yolks and blend in remaining ingredients. Pour into ice cream maker and process according to instructions. For ease of serving, transfer ice cream to shallow plastic container, Cover and store in freezer
